He began practicing medicine after receiving his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of California, Davis in 1983, and completing his residency at San Francisco General Hospital.

Dr. Costello is board certified in Family Medicine and Holistic Medicine.

In addition, he has a Master of Arts Degree in Spiritual Psychology, is currently in Fellowship in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Pain Management.
