Dr. Scott is a board certified Obstetrician Gynecologist who has lived and practiced in the South Bay for over 9 years.
She received her Bachelors degree, Cum Laude from Immaculate Heart College, Los Angeles.
She is a graduate of Creighton University School of Medicine, Omaha, Nebraska, where she became a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Society.
Dr. Scott completed her internship at UCLA Cedar Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, California, and her residency at LSU, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Scott is a past Chief of the Department of OB/GYN at Paradise Valley Hospital and she is an expert gynecological surgeon.
She is a certified user of the Da Vinci robotic system for minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Scott decided on a career in obstetrics and gynecology because she loves participating in bringing new life into the world.
Her special interest includes caring for women in all aspects of gynecology and she believe in helping patients through their health challenges in a caring manner, minimizing pain and recovery time.
Dr. Scott is an advocate for a healthy lifestyle encouraging her patient to optimize their general health through fitness and food choices.
Dr. Scott is happily married and has two teen children; she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, hiking, camping, yoga and cycling.
Hilary Elkins has a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
She attended and graduated from San Diego State University in May of 2016 and established herself as a Patient Care Specialist responsible for evaluating patients undergoing fertility treatments.
Prior to advancing her education, Hilary was a Triage, Labor and Delivery RN at a local hospital where she provided the highest standard of care to patients on a level III unit that delivers over 8,000 babies a year.
She was part of the Triage Core Team who were specifically trained to triage a wide range of obstetrical and gynecologic concerns.
Hilary functioned as a charge nurse overseeing the shift nurses and OB techs during several of her assignments.
Hilary is proficient in many GYN and OB related areas. She has a special interest in birth control management and fertility.
In October 2017, Hilary joined South Bay OBGYN as a staff Nurse Practitioner and has been putting all of her acquired skills to great use.
She is able to assist the practice with IUD and Nexplanon placements and removals, Annual Well Woman Exam’s, Urinary tract and vaginal infections, breast concerns. etc.
She is a highly dedicated and caring provider.
In her free time, Hilary enjoys spending time with her daughter and friends.
