He also served as President of the Medical Staff at Valley Hospital. In addition, he is a Consulting Psychiatrist for Journey Healing Centers. Dr. Valbuena was raised in Baltimore, MD. He is a first-generation Filipino-American and his family shares his passion for serving others through the medical profession: his father is a surgeon, his mother is a nurse, and two of his brothers are dentists.
