Lacey Royer, NMD

Dr. Lacey Courchaine (formerly Royer) is a licensed naturopathic doctor who specializes in women’s medicine, hormone balancing/replacement, weight loss, anti-aging, and gut health.

Dr. Courchaine graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona after graduating at the top of her class with a Bachelors degree in Molecular

Biology, Honors at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. During her undergrad days, she had an internship at the Knight Cancer Institute of Oregon Health Science University (OHSU) where she performed research in myeloproliferative disorders and leukemias.

It was then that Dr. Courchaine realized that conventional medicine was not the right career path for her. After witnessing the lack of options conventional medicine had to offer when it came to patient treatment and care, she decided to pursue a career in Naturopathic Medicine.

Naturopathic Medicine has given Dr. Courchaine the ability to apply her knowledge of the body on the molecular and cellular level in treating the whole body- mind, body, and spirit. She believes that you are not just the sum of your parts and will take the time to listen to your concerns; building a treatment plan that addresses the root cause of your concerns. In her free time,

Dr. Courchaine enjoys spending time with her family, her Goldendoodle Charlie, running, cooking, and watching a good movie.

TyRonda Smith, MD

Dr. TyRonda moved to the metro Phoenix area in 2017 to pursue her doctorate in naturopathic medicine at Sonoran University of Health Sciences (formerly known as Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine) as she has a passion for helping people live their healthiest lives and to feel their best. During her education at Sonoran University, Dr. TyRonda had the opportunity to pursue a regenerative medicine honor’s track where she honed her skills for soft tissue work and regenerative medicine injections such as perineural/neural prolotherapy, prolotherapy, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to help relieve pain and promote healing of joints, ligaments and muscles. She found that she enjoyed the work of helping people recover from muscle injuries and those who are battling osteoarthritis or sciatica-related issues. To see someone feel better after being in pain is truly a wondrous experience for her.

She has also become certified by Biote for pellet hormone replacement therapy (HRT), but also can help with other forms of HRT, such as creams, troches, and injections for those who are not comfortable with receiving pellets. She often sees patients who feel depleted, irritable, and just not themselves anymore after a certain age. Dr. TyRonda enjoys helping people to gain their vitality back, and to age gracefully.

She works with her patients on a very personal level to be able to provide them the best care that they deserve and to feel their best

Her passions in work include musculoskeletal chronic pain management, balancing hormones, nutrition, acupuncture, scar therapy, and regenerative medicine injection therapies.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her long-time boyfriend, watching a good movie or show, visiting family, dancing, and working out.
