Dr. Gina Escobar arrived in Fairbanks, Alaska, in 1999, after completing her residency in internal medicine at the University of New Mexico. Since that time, she has practiced full-time in the Fairbanks community.
Dr. Escobar ultimately founded Solstice Medicine and Wellness in 2016 to bring her vision of personalized care for her patients to fruition. Since then, she has added aesthetic and nutritional services to augment the services available to her patients.
Dr. Escobar resides with her husband, Dr. Strauss, an emergency physician in our Fairbanks community. Together they Have raised two children who are pursuing undergraduate studies.
She now spends time with her husband, exercising, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors with her two furry dogs.
