John Olsen

A 25-year veteran of the IT industry, John has provided foundational technical and strategic leadership to high-growth, world-class companies. Prior to joining Biote, John served at CIO/CISO for Betacom, a leader in Private 5GaaS networks.  John also took on the role of COO for the Betacom 5GaaS business.

John Owned/Operated Integrity Home Therapy, a staffing company providing physical, occupational and speech therapists to the home care industry.  John led Goodman Networks Technology Strategy and Operations as CIO, John was also Co-Founder and President of LocoValue, Inc., a next generation iCommerce™ Company poised to change the online retail paradigm.

As Senior Vice President and CIO at MetroPCS, Inc., he pioneered a Cloud/SAAS/Managed Services strategy, creating the wireless industry’s most cost-effective and innovative IT organization. John also served as CIO and CTO at NEC Business Network Solutions and GTESS, respectively.

He chaired the CIO Forum for the Dallas Chamber of Commerce for 5 years and currently sits on boards at Southern Methodist University (SMU), University of Texas-Dallas (UTD), and Novus Academy. He holds an MA Degree from Webster University and BA Degree from Texas State University.
